Hello everyone,
I would like to implement a notification bell on an interface, that would show me notifications, similar to the facebook one attached, where if I click on it I see notification messages.I found a link to the post docs.appian.com/.../ux_messages_comments.html but it doesn't suit for my case: I don't want to take up additional space in my interface, nor is it nice in terms of user experience.
Thank you very much in advance

+1 for this feature, with floating toast notifications
Hi Sanchit Gupta (Xebia) . Is that data coming from a process report? I would love to have your input in a similar function I'm building.
The design, in general, can work with data from any source - reports, records, database etc. Just replace the local!notifications configurations to appropriate data query function. You can also create a new post if you face any issues/errors which is not already answered in any of the community posts.
A similar functionality is totally possible using out of the box functions since weird things can happen when components are not given enough screen space. But it's not recommended since the results change as screen size / zoom changes. It would be far better if Appian gave us a built-in global notification function.
A simple stamp field with background set to white.
This one's wildly off the original topic, but still along the lines off squished components. I did this a couple of years ago to appease some UX designers. I ran out of ideas on how to get the right side to be fully rounded, so we removed the right stamp and blended the rectangle to the right-hand side of the page.
