  • Can we add this plugin within a parent interface along with other components to display or it's a stand-alone screen only?

  •  ,

It can be added within a parent interface along with other components.  It is a component plugin, which means it can be used in a similar manner to any interface component, like a!richTextField() for example.

One popular use case is to display a grid below the 3D object when a specific part of the object is selected.  The plugin provides a saveInto parameter that allows for saving back the id of the selected part.  The grid could show part availability, sub-parts that make up the selected assembly, or other information.  Comments could be attached to that part's id and provided when it's clicked by others, etc.
