Overview 

Automation of key business process that address the Animal shelter and welfare management areas. - When managing an Animal Shelter or an Animal clinic which has branches dispersed across geographies, there’s an issue of not being able to apply uniform management practices and thereby achieving economies of scale, as all these branches operate individually. Most animal welfare management applications are bespoke and home grown and the business processes are very manual.

The solution automates the following business process:

1. Shelter to Exit process - All the activities which takes place during the animal's stay at the shelter 
2. Adoption process - This includes the process steps from the time an adoption request is received to the point the animal is transferred to the adopter.
3. Foster process - This includes the process steps from the time a foster care request is received, to the point that the animal is returned after the foster period is completed
4. Animal Retail process - This includes the process steps to provide animals to pet shops which will result in a sale or return to the shelter
5. Lost and Found process - This includes the process steps of reporting lost animals, finding matches and claiming ownership and transferring the animal to the owner.
6. Animal Clinic process - This includes appointment management processes and consultation related tasks.
7. Pet Bereavement Process - This includes appointment management processes and consultation related tasks related to pet bereavement

1. Animal registration with help tools to identify the exact breed of the animal species
2. Shelter view with the ability to see all animals in different locations based on their shelter unit. 
3. Automated tools to help manage the animal’s daily tasks during the stay at the shelter including Diary appointments with automatic task allocations and reminders; direct link to clinical facilities such as vaccination, medical examination, tests; Microchip verification tools, automated cost attribution of these services to the animal for later re-imbursement from adopters.
4. Support to configure key processes such as Adoption, Fostering, Sale to Pet shops, Lost and Found claims with automated guided steps and integrations to contract signing facilities such as DocuSign and payment gateways for the final payment.
5. Ability to integrate with external sites and post animals for adoption or lost animals. Also exposes APIs to external sites to request for adoption, fostering and other similar requests based on the processes configured.
6. Lost and Found functionality which uses Image Recognition for the search algorithm
7. Clinic Appointment Management
8. Clinic Consultation Room with automation such as Microchip registration via a RPA, Animal Health Certification through automated processes and facilities to generate and digitally sign Vaccination certificates
