Nullafi Connected System

Overview

Nullafi for Appian is a data security integration that makes it easy to desensitize the data you collect on the Appian platform while maintaining its usability through Nullafi’s patented data aliasing process. Simply select the fields you wish to alias and the level of obfuscation, and the integration will automatically create and return usable aliases for analysis, user authentication, even communication, as data is collected. You can store these aliases in Appian, while your original sensitive data is double-encrypted and stored in zero-knowledge data "vaults" you own. You can have as many vaults as you wish, organized in whatever schema is best for your organization. This lets you easily gain and maintain not only compliance standards but also a zero-knowledge data architecture. Nullafi for Appian includes easy instructions to get you started.

• CreateAlias: Creates a new alias and store it on the selected vault. You can specify the data type you want to create an alias for, the options are:

• retrieveAlias: Retrieves an existing alias based on the alias Id provided.
• removeAlias: Removes an existing alias from the Vault based on the alias Id provided
