Can't stop engines on local install; seeing k3.lic
Evan Rust

Hello, I am running 17.1 Hotfix A locally. When trying to execute stop-suite.bat, I am seeing "k3.lic" in the command prompt, and my engines will not stop.
1) What should I do to shut down my engines and ensure I don't lose anything?
2) Is the k3.lic printout indicative of an expired license? I just obtained a new license on 2/24/2017

Replace the old license with the new one and stop the engines. You can't able to stop the engines with the expired license.

@Evan No Problem you can shut down the engines and you don't lose any data. Your license might have corrupted. Get the proper license and keep in server location and try executing checkengine.bat(<Appian_Home>/server/bin/Diagnosis/.checkengine.bat)
