Is it possible to access, or store, additional SAML attributes sent along with the authentication response from within Appian?

Was this answered? I would like to store an additional attribute for when a user is created via SAML for the first time e.g. Now we get Email, First and Last name but I want to include an Employee ID. How can this be done?
