Oracle Hanging Connections

We are using an Oracle Database and it is causing persistent sessions even when no one is connected to the appian cloud. The Session still exist even after deleting the Data Source connection from the Admin Panel.
The Oracle Data base is Situated on an AWS Cloud.
Please can you help us to resolve this?
