Access to Designer tool

Question

To whom it may concern:

We are taking some of the online courses already and we badly need your support reagarding the Designer Tool. This tool does not show amongst the options available in our Portal. Could you please provide us with all the information regarding the needs for having thie Designer Tool available so we can take the practises? Please do it as soon as possible because we need to have the courses finised by the 17th of April for we are going to take an on-premises one on the 19th. Our administrator, Andrea Rasi, has also written you regarding this concern. Please answer either him or me asap.

Your admin has to give your users design access. Then just visit /suite/design as a user with designer access. Read more here: docs.appian.com/.../Application_Designer.html

luiss1 i would like to suggest 2 things: 
 
1) For Forum Online courses, as you already have the forum access, so if the Appian Academy is not accessible for you then try checking with your Admin, if didn&#x27;t not work, then try raising the support ticket to Appian on this concern 
 
2) For doing practice, make sure that your account is not of type Basic User, because as a basic user, you won&#x27;t have access to Design, so your admin has to give you design access and the user must be non-Basic
