Default security for basic user in Appian

Hello,

 

I just want to reset the user's security to default after updating the security of user by "Modify User Security".

I have unchecked the option in Admin console -> Permissions - > Users can see the profile details of all users by default

So after resetting the user security as default , logged in user should able to see only their own record not any other user record. Please suggest the best practice to achieve this.

    There is no such default security option. Once you modify user security it gets permanently stored in Appian profile manager.
    Please consider following options:
    1. If the reason for modifying user security is to grant access of a process, then modify process instance security instead. This one is a temporary change and does not affect process model
    2. If you anyway need to change user security and roll it back, please consider taking its backup in your process instance or in database.
