We are looking for an option to enable the Create Users upon Login with SAML. I did go through the documentation, but there is a question around that.
As per the documentation, if a new user logs in via SSO for the first time, Appian will create a user with Username, Email, FirstName and LastName. I am also assuming that that user will be added to SAML Group as well (Right?). The question is, is there a way to identify such users and update their profile's custom fields automatically via process? Basically, we want to have few of the custom fields updated for every new user created in the system. So, will that be possible? One way I could think of is have a daily process that looks at the members of the SAML Group and checks their custom field information. If they are missing, it would update it. But, is there any other way possible?

At this point there is no way to detect a user creation event. Personally, I prefer to use other mechanisms for identity management than this one, since right now it is pretty simple. Check out the linked page and let me know what you think.
