installed Appian But System Admin is not created

Hi harshav,

I think you have to give the username as system administrator in password properties file because for administrator they won't have access to admin console.

Thanks sravanis for the inputs , but the solution for this is I recreated the passowrds.properties file and started the server and now it is working fine with the new Admin

Hello, How did u recreated the password.properties?
I did it like is showed in postintall guide, but i can´t log with the new user.

I did these steps:

log out current user (default user created in the first start)
stop jboss.
create a new password.properties
restart jboss.

I see the new file is erased

And i just can log with the defaul user, not the new.

Maybe i have to fill password. properties like the first time?

In my case the mistake what I have done is I have created the password.properties file with the user name Admin which is the actually user present.

But now when this didn't work for the first time I did the following steps.

Logged out of apian.
Stopped Jboss
Copied the password.example file to the password.properties file,
Created the user name as harsha
provided the password
saved it
started jboss
and I could able to login.
