Single Sign On

Hi 

I'm in the process of implementing SAML Authentication in Appian Environment, and identity provider is Okta.

I would like whether the below scenarios can be implemented or not

1) When the user is on intranet, user has to login into the Appian environment through single sign on (through Okta password).

2) If the user is outside office or out side intranet, user has to login into Appian environment by using Appian password.

In both cases, user added Single Sign On group on SAML.

Is this possible to implement?

Please provide your suggestions.
