Unable to start 17.3

I have installed and used 17.3 on my local instance but now when i go to start the services I get the following error: 

 

Could anyone offer assistance? There is no error in the log, services just won't start.

    The primary log that you will need to follow up this error is <APPIAN_HOME>/logs/service_manager.log. Try starting the engines once more and tail the log to see what the error is. In the past, and as you've noted, I've seen a similar sort of status coming from the engines if the license isn't valid. If that is the case, you can request a new license through knowledge base article KB-1316
