When you are importing an application, it's not unusual to have a conflict with CDTs, especially if you have calls to web services. We have noticed that this sometimes happens even if the structure of the CDT has not changed.

Depending on the situation, sometimes we will delete the CDT from the target environment and re-import the CDT or have it recreated when the new subprocess that calls the web service is imported.

If you perform an 'Impact Analysis' on this imported CDT it will show the processes that reference it as well as any process that reference an older version of the CDT. Further, it provides the functionality to update those processes that reference older versions.

My question is this: Do you run the 'Impact Analysis' & 'Update' every time you import an Application that affects CDTS?

TIA,
