How to check the appian product license expiry date

I am getting k3.lic as the output when I run k.exe under <APPIAN_Home>/server/_bin/k/linux64. I know that it indicates that the license is invalid and it might have been expired. But there are other factors which can make a license invalid.

The license for this environment is invalid for at least one of the following reasons:

  1. There was a change in the operating system.
  2. There was a change in the CPU count.
  3. The FQDN was changed.
  4. The license expired.
  5. More than one hostname resolves to the local network IP of the machine where this license is installed

So I want to know that if the license expiry is the reason in my case. How can I check the expiry date for the license?

  • If the license has expired, the server wouldn't start. You would be seeing a K error in your logs.

As far as I know, I have seen a License expiry for On Premise Installations.

Why not generate a request for Temporary license and the based on that , Acquire K output  (Q Output if on 18.1) and apply for Long Term License.

    Or

Better way reach Appian Support :)
