When configuring Appian to receive emails (in order to kick off a process by email), is polling the mail server the only option? Or is there a way to make it more event driven? My messaging folks aren't too keen on creating unnecessary traffic by polling every 5 minutes if they don't have to......

I'm not too familiar with the web service method.... I'm aware that process models can be published as web services, but how would the sending of an email tie in with that web service?
