How to Configure MSSQL Connections Using Windows Authentication in Appian?

Is it possible to create MS SQL Server connections in the standalone.xml file that use integrated (Windows) authentication to connect to the server from JBoss when running on Linux?

I haven't personally seen this in Linux, but I have seen it successfully implemented in a Windows Server environment. Based on a quick review of the Microsoft documentation, it looks like it should work on Linux.

To Rob's point, this is outside of Appian's documented database configuration. You would need to work with the external vendors (i.e. Microsoft and RedHat) to ensure your customization is functioning properly. As Appian doesn't directly support the application server feature, they can't guarantee or support the functionality.

Unless you are running into an enterprise security restriction that is forcing you to implement integrated authentication, I would second Rob's suggestion of using Appian's out of the box database connection configuration.
