"Add to patch" tool doesn't work in 18.1

Hi there!

Since we updated Appian to 18.1 Hotfix A from 17.3 (on-premise installation), we can't use the button "ADD TO PATCH" on Appian objects. When we click it, appears a popup saying that "Patch is not available". It also says that we should check the data server is running. We attached the complete message (in Spanish). The rest of the application ir working, in fact, the export app tool is also working fine.

When we click the Add to patch button we check the server.log and spot next message :
12:51:53,497 INFO  [stdout] (http-0.0.0.0:8080-9) 2018-04-11 12:51:53,491 [http-0.0.0.0:8080-9] INFO  com.appiancorp.applicationpatch.PatchSchemaSpringContextListener - Checking for patch schemas in Data Server...

Did someone face this in 18.1?

Thanks in advance

Regards.

Victor

  • You're right guys, it was a problem with data-server. We checked the data-server.log and wd-5400.log and realized that we made a mistake with the k4.lic file location. We moved license file to the correct path (<APPIAN_HOME>/data-server/engine/bin/q/l64/) and now the Add to patch tool is working.
Many thanks Logupriya Ramasamy and prakash
