Hi, We recently upgraded to 18.1 and are no longer to create new data in our documents folder structure because it was stored in the default community. How do we move our knowledge centers out of the default community? When you try to move a knowledge center it asks for a new community, but there is no longer any way to create or view communities

I can confirm that when creating a NEW Knowledge Center, the parent kc/community picker is optional - however when attempting to MOVE a Knowledge Center, the move target requires a parent Community to be selected. I believe this is an error on Appian's part as Communities are now supposed to be officially deprecated.
