How to connect Appian Cloud to IBM AS400 DB2 database

Hello everyone! 
 We will try to connect to a DataBase of an AS400 IBM server. We know that the Database the Server uses is a DB2/400 but what we don't know if we can connect to that database directly though the Admin panel selecting DB2 as the database type or we need something else. From that we extract that Appian cannot connect with an AS400 server out-of-the-box. What should we do to connect to an AS400 server?

Since you are asking in terms of Appian Cloud, I would log a support ticket. The support team will give you information on what they will support and if you can use a JDBC connection or must go through services.
