Is there any server side script available, that an administrator can run on the server side to update all the objects owners in an environment to a specific User?

We faced similar issue but not that many objects. We re-deployed objects with deployment user.
I don't know if there is way to directly update the owner as you are saying. Lets see if any fellow practitioner put some light on this.

Thanks Tim. This partly helps to republish the process models with admin account, but we have other objects such as CDT's, UI's.

Have you tried the other option in that thread of exporting your apps then re-importing with a customisation file containing FORCE_UPDATE? I have done this recently for a client with the desired results.
