Disable the System email sent when a User is created in Appian

Is there a way to disable the email sent from Appian when the user account is created?

Typically when this is required, administrators and designers will use to Personalization Utilities , which includes the function Create User With i18n .

Allows you to set the locale, the timezone and calendar preferences for the user to be created

Please note: DOES NOT Send Temporary Credentials Email

If you are creating users through process then Rob's solution is the way to go. If you are creating users through the admin console, you can enter a temporary password to prevent the temporary password email from being sent to the user. Take a look at the User Management documentation for details.

Jacob Edelman If you're addressing a requirement to systematically (i.e. not manually) create one or more users, and not send them a new password email, then yes, the plugin smart service doesn't send an email. It's not uncommon for organizations to do this. So that's the recommendation. 
 
If you're creating the user's manually, as ericg329 suggested, you can bypass the email by setting a temporary password for each user.
