cron Job does not delete tomcat logs

Question

Hi all, 
 
 I have set up the cron Job in Appian 18.4 as recommended in the documentation but I have noticed that the tomcat logs are not being deleted. Is there a Parameter/script/recommendation to clean these logs? 
 
 If not, we will write our own script for that.

AFAIK Appian itself doesn't provide script for cleaning up tomcat server logs Instead it provides clean up scripts for cleaning Appian engine KDB files and their corresponding logs. 
I think you need to write your own cron job to delete the older tomcat server logs.
