I am trying to configure SAML in Appian 18.4
I have set the configuration with the Details given by the customer but unforntunately it does not work. I have enabled some extra tracing:

What is the behavior you are seeing from the front-end?
Typically, I will put a SAML tracer on the browser (Firefox has a good one) and look at the SAML assertion that comes back from the IDP. I look to see if the username is coming back in the location specified in the Appian config, if that user exists in Appian with appropriate casing, and any other irregularities in the assertion.

Thanks, unforntunately only IE is allowed in this customer... I will ask the customer to provide a sample Response and will have a look at your link.

I just tried but the download page is blocked by the customer. I dont have admin rights anyway... I will speak to the customer to get some Kind of Tools to analyze the traffic.
