Do we have different user login for different Appian domain/account

Question

Hi, 
 Suppose we have two or more applications developed under Appian environment. All applications are different from each other and there is no interconnection between them. Assume there are users who want to access our multiple services/applications. So our questions are: 
 
 Do we need to create separate Appian account for each application 
 Do Appian provide different domains/URL to access those applications (with common Username/Email ID) 
 How user can access multiple application witth the same Username/Email ID 
 If user already used any other existing Appian application and when we try to create same user for our application it should not prompt us "User already exists" 
 
 Please answer the question.

No, you don't. Appian is has Role-Based security. So you can attach Security Groups (which represent the Roles you wish Users to play in your Application) to your Applications, and add the same User account to as many Security groups as you wish, so that they can play one or more Roles in one or more Applications 
 If you're using Appian's default User environment (Tempo) all of your Applications will share the same base domain/URL. If you expose your applications as Appian Sites then the domain remains the same but the URLs will be specific to the Site(s) that the Users have access to

 User Accounts are unique (but case sensitive). If you try to create a new User Account with the same UserId as one that already exists then you will not be allowed to. Note regarding case: stewart.burchell is NOT the same as Stewart.Burchell so we recommend you adopt a standard format e.g. all lower-case email addresses
