Unless I am mistaken, when creating a new user, there seems to be no way to clone the access to groups based on access provided to another user? We have to add the new user individually to all the groups. Are there any shared components to handle this?...

Check out the following forum.appian.com/.../Process-Driven_User_Management for an example of how to manage group memberships using a process model. To get a list of groups that a given user is a member of you can use the People Functions plugin: forum.appian.com/.../summary
