Is it fair to say that if my archived-process directory is really out on a netwo

Is it fair to say that if my archived-process directory is really out on a network drive (via a mount and a symlink) then I don't ever need to run a "cleanup processes -target /path/to/backup/dir -keep xdays"? Or would this somehow affect performance down the road?...

  • The parameters you are passing in your example will delete the files from the current archived-process folder location and move them to a different one. If you are already storing these files in a special network drive which is exclusive/dedicated for storing any Appian application data (e.g. _admin folder) then it doesn't make sense to run this cleanup unless you want to have another network drive for backup purposes.
