Hi all,
Is it needed to restart Tomcat, Appian engines, Data Search or Search Servers after upgrading the Java JDK?
I think it is at least recommended but I would like to know if someone has any opinion on this.

I believe that is not necessary if the current Java_home is still present on the server. However for mission critical applications, I'd suggest stopping the Java based processes, upgrade Java JDK and then restart those processes so they run on the latest Java version.
