Docker error on starting service

Hi everybody,

in order to use it with Appian (19.3)  I have installed Docker Desktop in my PC (OS Win10 Pro) and I've enabled in the PC's BIOS the "Virtualization Technology" as well as the "VT-d feature".

The problem is that when I start Docker , this error message appears:

Unable to stop - The running command stopped because the preference variable "ErrorActionPreference" or common parameter is set to Stop:
Failed to start service 'Hyper-V Host Compute Service (vmcompute)'.
....

I have googled around but I did not find anything useful to solve; someone else faced this issue ?

Any suggestion or hint is appreciated, thank you in advance for your help.
