Importing application in other environment messes up the process model's name

We have two environments, one is dev and another is uat. We have made and tested an application in dev which works as per requirements however, for uat

all of our process model's name are either empty or just contain ??? .
Also there is no description even though it was present in application of dev.
Any idea what could be reason for this?
