My installation process took a bit of a circuitous route and now there seems to be something missing. The tomcat server gets to this log point, then just freezes:
2020-06-25 19:20:16,844 [wait-for-component] INFO com.appiancorp.common.startup.WaitForStatefulComponents - Appian component Search Server is healthy
no other logs are generated after this point.
anyone have any ideas what to try? All three servers are like this.

The same happened to us also. We restarted all the server machines and started the Appian environment. That solved the issue!

Did you restart the OS as well?
We also had the a same issue. We restarted all engines, servers and started the Appian environment.
