Hi all,
I have a group with 29 users. Administrator users can see all 29 members, however basic users can see only 27.
The group is not inheriting the security from another parent group.
The security of the group is set as:
-Default - No access
- Admin group - Administrator
- A testing basic user - Administrator
The properties of the group are:
Visibility - public
Membership - closed
Privacy - Low
Why cant my basic testing user not see all the members of the group if it is set as Administrator of the group?
Discussion posts and replies are publicly visible
Maybe the role map at user level is set differently for the users which can't be seen. Please see documentation: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/20.2/User_Profile_Visibility.html
The role map is set as "Administrator" for a testing basic user and the testing user cant see all the members of the group.
juergeng393 I am unable to find the option Default User Profile Visibility in the user profile which was mentioned in the documentation. Curious to know if you are able to see.
Not sure where you looked for it. The documentation provides the hint where to find it:https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/20.2/User_Profile_Visibility.html#configuring-user-profile-visibilityIt is on the Admin Console and you can find it here: /suite/admin/page/permissions
