I have created a task report which has filter: Process id with linked field as shown in the attached picture.I'm showing this report on interface in editable grid. I want to open the active process instance by linked process id so that the Admin User can navigate to particular instance to monitor it on the report itself.

I handle this in my shared app, 'Advanced User Task Report'. You can feel free to look into the code there and mimic what it does. Essentially, this involves building a URL pointing to the process instance ID, which is then shown to a user (with sufficient designer privs) in a safelink.
