Run checkengine under <Appian_home>/server/_scripts/diagnostic/ and confirm that all the engines are up and running.

Thanks for your help. I restarted both of the Jboss server and Appian service. It works now. But i still found there is an engine not started in your way. What can i do?

The error indicates that the engine is up, but it has been restarted. You may want to look at the engine and database logs (gw_PX021... and db_PX021...) at the time the engine disconnected and confirm if there ware any error messages that may indicate why the engines keep restarting.
Ensure there is enough memory and disk space to start the engines.

Thanks. I register the Appian as a windows service. It always fails to start part of the engines. I use command line "start-suit.bat" now. It works well.
