I am using the Appian Configuration Manager to set up a new environment. I have created a few new additional properties in my local.properties file withing the ACM. I am a little unclear on what the following instruction from the ACM documentation means:
"NOTE: Any additional properties not covered under the example file can be added to your [environment].properties file. Corresponding keys need to be added to custom.properties so that they get deployed correctly to /runtime_ear "
Do I add keys to the custom.properties file location in the <APPIAN_HOME>\\ear\\suite.ear\\conf for the enviroment that I am deploying to or do I need to add a custom.properties file to the ACM and add keys there?...

Also, this applies only to base product properties, i.e. conf.suite... any properties that are not read by the product from custom.properties, obviously do not have to be defined in that file.
