Hi All
I am trying to deploy the container from Dev env to test Env , but while deploying I am getting an error that "The interface xxxxx is being edited by xxxxx so and so " I have closed all the application and restarted the system too but didn't able to resolve this error . Please help me out to resolve this error .

Try opening the interface in your test environment. And open it in the expression mode, it should show you a lock notification. Go with continue editing.
This might help you to break the lock of someone else's.
After this try closing your interface and retry importing.
Please note: do get in touch in who's editing the interface just in case they doesn't loose their work.
I have contacted the person whose xid is mention in the log file . Respective user has closed all the app in Dev and test Env and restarted the system too . Again we are getting same error .
Also I didn't get you for lock notification
The error that you are getting about an interface being locked, if you open that interface in the test environment and click the expression mode, it would show you an alert that the interface is edited by someone else
you can then click Continue Editing and then retry your import.
If nothing works, please wait for sometime, Appian will clear out locks after sometime and you shall be able to import it then.
Thanks Agam . By the way can u also tell how much time Appian takes to clear the lock
Also can we use the same logging I'd which is mention in the error log file to clear the lock if possible

I am not sure of an exact timing but you can check Appian documentation if you are really keen on it.
