I need to setup the possibility for user to access through MFA, like username + password and code received on the phone or on an app like google auth.
Is there anyway to do that on Appian?I know about SAML but, for me, it isn't clear if it works only with identity provider or with other methods.
I work with Appian Cloud Version.

Appian supports MFA only through an external identity provider. SAML is then the way how Appian connects to it.

Is it easy to substitute the identity provider?
Like, I use idp1 but now I want to dismiss idp1 and I want to use idp2.

Sure. Just change the configuration in the admin console.
