Please review your appian-topology.xml to ensure that you list the correct hostname.

Ok, changed the hostname and took one step sideways. Please see attached. Engines start but throw errors?

The screenshot you attached for the GW console, shows you have an ERROR in gateway-config.xml. Could you attach that?

The gateway-config.xml file seems to be okay.

Is this a completely new installation? Do you have any additional customizations in the environment?

Can you stop the engines, close the command prompt and start the engines again under a new command prompt as Administrator?

Yes. New install. No additional customization that I'm aware of.

Stopped all engines and ran as admin. Same results.

Charles, do you have any other gateway-custom*.xml file in <APPIAN_HOME>\\server\\_conf directory?

I was able to reproduce the same behavior adding a typo in my gateway-config.xml file.

Could you also attach your custon.properties from <APPIAN_HOME>\\runtime_ear\\suite.ear\\conf directory?

There is an issue with the gateway-config-custom.xml file.

This property is incorrect.

<engine auto-database-save="@auto.checkpoint.enable@" name="process-analytics5"/>

Change the @auto.checkpoint.enable@ to 1/0 depending on whether you want to enable / disable automatic-checkpointing.

1=enable
0=disable

By default, it is set to 1. If you set it to 0, ensure that you configure manual check-pointing or the System will never checkpoint.

This should fix the issue.

What is check-pointing? How do I do it manually?

Do you mean gateway-config.xml instead of the custom? Either way I tried the change with both files and still have the same problem.
