Hello Team,
Our Appian platform is on Cloud. Does anyone know how to download the Identity provider metadata file that has configured for SAML Authentication? We want to update the saml end points for the certificate renewal.
Thanks,
Ramesh

Ramesh - You can check the steps in docs.appian.com/.../SAML_for_Single_Sign-On.html
Vimal - I am looking for identify provider metadata xml and not the service provider.
Ramesh - My bad. I miss read it. This should be generated on your Identity Provider. What is the Identity provider, you are using?
It is login.gov
Ramesh - I don't have an prior experiences with login.gov. Noticed couple of documentation, might be useful
- developers.login.gov/.../
- developer.okta.com/.../
Vimal - I am looking for help to download the file that was already uploaded.
Identify provider metadata xml will be provided by the identity provider not by the Appian. You have to ask IDP admin to provide the metadata XML, which you can upload in Appian SAML configuration page.
You are correct when you setting up the new IDP. But this is already configured and I want to see how that metadata.xml file looks like. It only has on option to upload but no download option. I couldn't find that file from server logs folders so reaching here to see if someone was able to get the location of metadata files stored.
