Hi,
I have the need to understand if Appian servers of the customer are already in HA.
Is it enough to look at the file appian-topology.xml?
Thanks

When following the documentation, that's the case.
HI Gabrielle, what do you need?
Have you read the following documentacion about HA?
docs.appian.com/.../High_Availability_for_Appian_Cloud.html
Hi David and Stefan, I try to better explain my strange question.
I have a black box with inside 3 Appian servers working and the file appian-topology.xml related to that installation.
The appian-topology.xml is similar to the one in documentation
(docs.appian.com/.../How_to_Set_Up_High_Availability_Installations.html
Can I say that Appian is working definitely in HA?
That is indeed a strange question. Can you share some details?
Besides the topology file, I suggest to also check for the Apache load balancing setup and the tomcat clustering.
At the end of the day ...
Hello Any other helpful resources to understand better about High Availability. I started reading about it post this discussion. Would love to know more about it and will be really helpful for me with more resources(Related to Appian).
IN roder to check if you are working in HA, check the nodes that you have in you topology file and check if all of them are working when Appian is started (you can check log files)
First, I have to confess that my experience in Appian server admin topics is very limited.
I assume that you already studied the available documentation. What specific questions do you have?
Nothing specific actually, was trying to understand the documentation but couldn't process much. Thought may be anything simpler to understand or begin with.
Hi Gabriele,No, HA is configured for disturbuted systems in order make mirror replica of parent environment, and maintain zero down time or less downtime of server. Topology indication list of engines or engines pair configured for server setup which concentrates more on server performance and other activities like load balancing.
