The IE setting I'm talking about is the Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete Settings -> Ask me before saving passwords. This setting works on 6.6.1 on both IE 9 and IE 10, but is blocked on Appian 7.5. We have played around with a couple different setting but have not been able to get this to work.
We're not looking for this to work on the production server but for testing purposes on our DEV and QA servers.

This seems to be more like an issue with IE since Firefox do ask me whether I want to save the login information or not which means Appian is not doing anything to block this feature.
You can use the Remember Me feature though that comes with Appian by default.
