We're in the process of upgrading from 6.6.1 to 7.5 and we noticed once we had our DEV server migrated that IE cannot save user and password information. The IE setting I'm talking about is the Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete Settings -> Ask me before saving passwords. This setting works on 6.6.1 on both IE 9 and IE 10, but is blocked on Appian 7.5. We have played around with a couple different setting but have not been able to get this to work.
We're not looking for this to work on the production server but for testing purposes on our DEV and QA servers.

Thank you for your response. We actually found out that the issue was in Appian's login.jsp file. it sets the username textbox to block autocomplete.
We were able to fix it by editing the file to say autocomplete="on" and now IE does prompt us to save the password.
