According to MySQL 5.5.45+, 5.6.26+ and 5.7.6+ requirements SSL connection must be established by default if explicit option isn't set. For compliance with existing applications not using SSL the verifyServerCertificate property is set to 'false'. You need either to explicitly disable SSL by setting useSSL=false, or set useSSL=true and provide truststore for server certificate verification.

    1. Verify Connectivity:  --->Check if the database server is running and accessible from your Appian server (try pinging the database server's IP address)  and  --->Ensure there's no firewall blocking connections on the database port (usually 3306).

    2. Check Credentials:-->custom.properties: Make sure the database URL, username, and password are correct.-->tomcatResource.xml: Verify the data source name matches custom.properties.

    3. Address SSL Warning:-->Review your MySQL configuration and client settings if SSL is required. You may need to provide a truststore.
