What is the easiest way to get no of columns in all record in the application and also what is the easiest way to get no of nodes in a process model?

Programatically? I think there is no way to achieve this requirement....
Assuming all records come from the same database, or same few databases you have access to, then you can use that. Otherwise, you have to manually count.
Process model you pretty much have to manually count.
