I have Appian environments with users synced from LDAP. Since the sync process does not update the password attribute when the Appian user is created this properties is empty or null. I have an old web service that initiates a process but is hard coded with a null password. This works fine until someone changes the Appian user password in say a test environment. When this happens the web service breaks in that environment.
Is there a way to restore or remove the password from the Appian user?
Thanks.

To my knowledge passwords cannot be nullified once the user has been created. Actually the LDAP Sync plug-in sets the password to a 30-character random string when creating users from your LDAP server into Appian, not even the plug-in creates users with null passwords (since this is not allowed)
