I have observed a strange case happening, For one of my account "XYZ", I'm unable to receive emails using "Send Email Smart service" from past two days. My hunch is, in the system logs, I see it as locked. Is this issue due to that or what could be case, here?
Workflow: I have process model, that sends an email. That has input of a group as constant with the users included.

If there are multiple failed login attempts, the user account can get locked. You can configure it in the Admin console. See the below screenshot for reference. However, this should not impact mail functionality (only restrict users from login). Should able to send mail to the locked user.
