We have annual security audits in our company. This year Appian entered in this process and the auditor is consulting us about backups. We have contracted the Essential cloud service. We understand that Appian has some sort of solution (cluster) on top of cloud environments. Where can I find this documentation? Is there a recommended procedure by Appian to backup our information? How can I ensure that in the event of an event I can recover our productive environment?

Here is Appian Cloud's backup policy: docs.appian.com/.../Appian_Cloud_FAQ.html
To have your own backups for audits, you would need Appian's Enhanced Data Pipeline.
https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/25.1/Enhanced_Data_Pipeline_for_Appian_Cloud.html
In the cloud, if you need to restore from backup, you would log a support ticket and they would restore the whole Appian instance (Processes and DB) from a snapshot taken at a particular time.
RPO and RTO may vary depending on what type of packages you have purchased (HA, Enhanced Business Continuity)
Hi Mathieu.
Thank you for this information, I will be sharing it with our auditor to see if it meets his requirements
