Hi All,
We want to understand more on the Maintenance Downtime Calendar in Appian. As we receive downtime emails in advance for maintenance of the site (for upgrade or any other thing). Also The timing and date can also be accessed from MyAppian Forum site. But these two things would only be accessible by few people in the org/site (support contacts). We want to notify other Appian users about the downtime scheduled so they can be prepared and resume their work accordingly. We are able to think on following ways:1. The Team who has the access will check and update us.
2. They will sent out an email to the Appian users explicitly about the downtime. But all of this would require manually checking the mail or the Appian Forum site. Is there any other way around that we can notify the user about it in advance so that they don’t lose their work.
Kindly let us know if there is any other way to achieve this apart from the above.Thank you!

There are many ways to implement this, but they take time to develop. Therefore, I would recommend the easiest approach: ask the admin who receives the maintenance emails to log in to the Admin Console and update the maintenance window directly.
HI Shubham Aware thanks for your response. But I wanted to know if there is any way we could update other Appian users/developers about downtime scheduled in advance.
Email Listener Approach: Forward maintenance emails to a dedicated email address and configure an email listener in Appian to automatically read these emails, extract maintenance details, update banners across all sites, and send notification emails to all users.Admin Form Approach: Create a dedicated site tab accessible only to system admin users with a form to submit maintenance details. Upon form submission, the system automatically updates banners across all sites and sends notification emails to all users.
