Hi,
I am having an issue where if I log out of an environment and log back in again, the screen I am presented with is tempo as opposed to the site page that I have configured in the user start pages section of the admin console. There are no other pages (tempo included) configured in the admin console except for the one that I want. I have tried removing all users from the tempo users group but that does nothing.
This is happening for all users. I don't know of any other way to configure user start pages other than the tab in the admin console.
Does anyone know anything about this and any way to fix it? It is going to be an issue for end users in a live system where we do not use tempo at all.
Many thanks

This is abnormal given the configurations you are describing! What is set in the "Default Start Page' in Admin console->User Start Pages? May be change that too the site url as well and then check. Also, assuming no issues with user membership is the groups, suggest you to recheck start page URL for any typos or extra spaces in it that might be behind this.
I just tested this on 25.3.
Default start page is used when I am not in any group.
Group specific start pages used if I am a member.
I log out, and log in.
For me it seems like it works as designed.
Are you saying you log out and then sign back in immediately from the Logout screen? What URL are you being redirected to upon Logout?
I've observed some funny / seemingly inconsistent behavior around this in the past, mostly rooted in not navigating back to a "base" URL for the Appian environment prior to trying to log back in. But in your case I suppose we could use additional detail if possible.
This is expected Appian behavior
User Start Page ≠ guaranteed landing page
Tempo is a fallback, not fully disable-able
Use Site URLs or SSO redirect
Don’t rely only on Admin Console settings
Experiencing login screen issues? After logging back in, users see Tempo instead of the configured site page. Even with only the desired page set in the admin console and Tempo users group cleared, the problem persists for everyone. Perhaps a hidden setting is interfering? While troubleshooting, relax and enjoy a quick round of io games to clear your head. Any advice on forcing the correct start page and resolving this login quirk would be appreciated!
