SECURITY:
Can you add a field to User Profile for security verification? Assign user to facility and therefore they can only see their facility? Otherwise, you have to assign each user to numerous groups and maintain. ie. 18 Facilities with same 6 Departments accessing same function within Appian and they all share query function (126 groups to add and maintain users (100+ users per facility)).
Ideas?...

I haven't seen any custom field for user profile. However, you may use one of the fields as an identifier for the security you want to implement. Here, I am assuming that the security you are going to implement is driven from database.

Better option is to create a custom group hierarchy and manage the security at that level and to manage users (add / remove from groups ) you may develop a process.
